Greetings readers stateside and abroad! Thanks for checking us out.  We hope you are enjoying our ghost tramping adventures. 

Today, we wanted to expand on “why” we love exploring ghost towns, old haunted places, the paranormal and cemeteries.  First, we love researching the history of a place or the people or person attached to it.  Learning about the past and getting the opportunity to step into the past is an incredible experience.  Second, is the amazing experience of actually “contacting” the other side, the spirit realm! I (ely) am an Empathic/Intuitive Medium and dona is a Sensitive.  Both of us have the natural ability to “see”, “sense”, and sometimes “hear” beyond the veil.  We are respectful in our approach and always give thanks, say a blessing or a prayer…whatever the situation calls for.  We are not out to “prove” the existence of the spirit world, for we know it exists.  Most often, we do not use paranormal equipment, but sometimes…if a location is busy we will.  I am keen on old fashioned technology; the dowsing rods and pendulum.  However, sometimes we use EMF meters and digital recorders.  We hope to expand and acquire some of the newer applications on the market, but have not felt a need just yet.  

We also felt it important to emphasize that once you open the door to the spirit world, it can be unsettling.  Spirits can attach themselves and even follow you home.  We have experienced this recently after visiting SASCO.  Spirits like to play with our old cats too.  One is blind and very sensitive to “hearing” things we do not.  The other is like a magnet and spirits constantly follow her around, she seems okay with it…lol.  Not to mention, were we live is haunted land and so we are always dealing with some sort of energy, sounds, shadows, orbs, and figures.  I try to always photograph the area when the cats or us “feel”, “sense”, “see” or “hear” something.  Here are some of those images.

This energy manifestation took place after our Sasco visit.  Squeaky, the blind cat was running around afraid, as if she was being taunted.  I started taking pictures and first saw an orb and then as I was taking this photo I saw the light in the camera.  So, it is not a reflection or dust.  This is energy building.

The spirit world does not mean ghost's walking around, it is more often "energy" and the feeling of the air being electrically charged, like when your hair stands on end, or you feel a cold spot.  If they can gather enough energy, then you may hear and see them.

Be careful out there engaging with the spirit world.  Protect yourself with your belief and be respectful.
